MEET THE TEAM
Rachelle
Lead Hygienist
Rachelle grew up locally, graduating from Lakeview High School along with her older sister. In High School, she played volleyball, basketball and softball. After high school she continued with sports at the collegiate level playing for Youngstown State University. Her continued love for volleyball was inspired by her dad and all his years coaching her along with others. She played 3 years of volleyball at Youngstown State University during which time she discovered dental hygiene. At first, she wasn’t sure that this was the career path she wanted to take. She thought being a pharmacist was her dream, but quickly found out that wasn’t for her. Her mother played an instrumental part in moving towards Dental Hygiene. Rachelle graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2019, and started working for Dr. Benton as soon as she graduated. Currently, Rachelle holds the position as Hygiene Team Leader. She is responsible for navigating the schedule, patient comfort, team events, etc. In 2022, she married her husband, Elias. They have a dog named Kimber which makes visits on occasion to team events. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, traveling and riding side by sides with her husband.
Kasey

Kasey decided to go into the dental field in order to help people in a more individualized way than the hospital setting. Being a hygienist allows her to interact with my patients and get to know them on a personal level. She graduated from Youngstown State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science. She then began to work for Dr. Benton. Being in this field has inspired her to further her education by graduating with a Masters in Health and Human Services in 2022. Her role as a hygienist is to provide education to her patients to help them meet their immediate and long-term health goals. Kasey enjoys working at Dr. Benton’s office because it feels like a family. Everyone plays a key role in providing that exceptional patient experience. The team dynamic allows for personalized care for each patient, and an overall great experience in the office! In 2021, she married her husband, Sean. When not working on teeth, she enjoys spending time with her husband traveling, painting, exercise, her pets, and The Canfield Fair.
